Regency Beauty School is a nationwide beauty school that is well established and well-known in the cosmetology industry. Regency originated in the 1950s when it was under the name of Maxim's Beauty Salon. It became known as Maxim's Beauty Academy shortly thereafter. Then, in the 1980s it became known as the Regency Beauty Academy, the name we all know it by today.
In 2002, the school changed again. It was taken over by former investment banker Hayes Batson. He brought his vision for a more efficient, better beautician education to Regency. He focused the program around professionalism and training that would make better beauticians, higher paid beauticians, and more profitable salons.
